Goals 33 seconds apart. This one straight from the post goal faceoff, rush, long pass, flubbed by Subban and stolen for straight break in and beat Bachman alone.

Utica did not show up to play and the Falcons did. This has been a familiar pattern with the Comets, especially poor first periods, and very weak own zone coverage.

SOG 1st period: 18-7 Springfield.

Springfield had won 4 in a row, then lost last game 4-0. Looks like they intended to change there last effort and the Comets were resting on their laurels after Saturday's dominance of providence.

Terrible effort by the Comets. Green should be spitting nails. He prides himself on his team being hard to play against. After that period, Springfield has to hope everyone they play is that easy to play against.

The main issue in this game is the Comets cannot break the puck out of their own zone and the Falcons enter the zone at will. Thus the game is being played in the Utica end. The D is not playing well, but the forward presence in their own zone is horrible.
