Nah. Downie has the best season of these three players by an enormous margin. The best 3 seasons, probably.

I don't know if I gift him a spot in the top 6 because of how he played a few years ago, but, insofar as what player X has shown to date vs player Y, Bennett would be far behind Downie.

Huh? What does Downie have to do with someone comparing Bennett to Tangradi and Caputi?

So was Alexander Daigle, yet he was widely considered a bust. It all depends on the expectations. If he's perceived to be a top six guy and only amounts to a bottom rung role player, well........

Daigle is wrongly considered to be a bust. First overall career? No. But he had a decent one for a guy with okay size who didn't give a crap.

I'd take his career over Pavel Brendl's or Bryan Fogarty's, that's for sure. Patrik Stefan's, too.
