I have never really been to Tampa and I am going to be there next week. Anything I should see?

I think I am going to go to a game against the Panthers on Monday but I don't know what else to do.

Merry Christmas relative! You are not special enough to me to buy a gift or even write a personalized card to, but I have paid someone to print off 100 postcards with pictures of my shitty family on one side, and on this reverse side, a filtered narrative about all the stuff we did this year that you must certainly care about, because unlike you, we are special and matter. I know the holidays can be hard for some people, but I hope you take some comfort in knowing that you are least intelligent enough to realize that gestures like this are, at best, a sign of anxiety over holiday expectations, and at worst, insulting and pathetic, and thus you don't send actual f***ing spam to your own friends and family. For that we love you.

The new Star Wars wasn’t bad at all. Definitely heavy on the nostalgia and call-backs (About 50% of them were unnecessary) but it was overall much better than the critics would have you believe.

There’s a pretty big gap growing between fan reactions and critics on it.

NOWHERE near as bad as the Jar Jar movies.

Merry Christmas to everyone here at HFBoards and their families. :x)::x)::x)::x):

It's been a trying (and disappointing) season thus far for the home team but here's to hoping that 2020 and onward turns things around for the better. :crossfing

Oh and as far as Star Wars goes, I stopped watching after the TLJ debacle.

"The Force Awakens" was weak in itself but it did show Some promise with some glaring faux pas's that could be fixed....but they said "F*** it" and came up with that disaster.

All that said, however...

The Star Wars franchise, if we're going to be honest here, was destroyed the moment that :

1.) George Lucas sold his soul to Disney

and

2.) Disney tossed the EXPANDED UNIVERSE into the trash.

So much quality material and stories they could've used here (maybe even make more movies later) and they flushed it all down the toilet in order to turn Star Wars into

SJW Wars : The Feminazi's fight back
. Bah! :thumbd:

Merry Christmas everyone.

I finally set up my Christmas tree, so I figured I'd share a pic of it. It shows JUST enough Christmas spirit for me.

I just learned there's going to be a 4th Matrix movie coming out, which kind of surprised me given the ending of 3 seemed to seal the deal & explain the (then) trilogy.

Also learned that on the same day Matrix 4 comes out there will be another John Wick released, which seems kind of funny to me. I guess KR will be everywhere summer 2020.

I still do a double take every time I see a Matrix article and they show a picture of the Wachowski Bro’s now

I keep calling it The Bryce Salvador Dali museum. ;)
Going to Ybor this afternoon. Been to much rain the last couple of days to walk around. Yesterday was the first nice day since Saturday.

New bourbon alert:. Devils River. Texas bourbon. I'm not sure if it's really good or I'm really happy.

Ever try Old Camp whiskey? It's made by Florida Georgia Line or they're the backers financially or something. Not bad. I'm not an avid drinker though.
The bar tender actually showed me a bottle of Old Camp Peach Pecan Whiskey. I don't really like the idea of peach and pecan with my whiskey but I am sure it had it's place
