Need I remind you guys of the good 'ol days when it was still the government run DMV instead of the privatized MVC and you'd wait a minimum of like 4 hours to get ANYTHING done?

I'm presuming many here (not you DD) are too young to remember those days.

I remember my father bringing the cars to the Inspection Station the night before, parking it in the front of the line, and leaving only to get dropped off in the morning so he didn't have to wait the literal hours that inspection would take.

The expresss DMV license renewals are incredible. There's one in Midtown where you can book your appointment online and you are in and out in like 15 minutes. Just wonderful.

You can just renew online by mail no? I do.

6. Facebook I am responsible for Traditional Archers of New Jersey event information and shoot schedules.. I basically run the page.

8. General internet surfing. Spend a lot of time checking the weather for hunting and fishing. WindFinder is one of my favorites. app and site. But I am constantly searching for local fishing information in places I want to visit....Iceland is the latest fascination.

I just dont get how that's possible.

Yeah, I heard flip phones are making a comeback with Hollywood stars as a "hip" thing. Kind of like fashionable people going out and buying pre-ripped jeans.

I have to say, the flip phone was inifinitely easier to use than the smart phone. I just flip open the phone, pick 1-9 (speed dial) and hit send. I rarely have to hit anything else. On the smart phone I have to select contacts, scroll through them and find who I want. Much more annoying while driving. Likewise, answering a call is just flipping the phone open as opposed to sliding across the screen and hoping it registers (it seems half the time it doesn't for me).

I would consider carrying both a flip and a smart phone and using the smart phone just as a computer for GPS and home automation, etc. The thing is texting is much harder on the flip. If I could somehow combine the two, I'd be a happy man. In fact, my first attempt at a smart phone was a ZTE flip smart phone, but instead of combining the best features of each, it really just combined the most annoying issues of each. Dissapointing.
