Man, I look at some of those teams below us. They are just so goddamn terrible that is cracks me up thinking about how bad we'd have to play to catch them.

I dunno how long I want the tank to last. 2 years maybe? Dunno yet. What I do know is that I'm gonna have to take a month long shower when it's over.

This is probably as good a year as any to "tank" or have a transitionary year and get a Top 10 pick. Lots of injuries, lots of pending UFAs who should get us some nice picks, give the kids some chances (hopefully doesn't crush them).

Still think we NEED to send McCann and Virtanen to the WJC though. Better for their development.

I think I've watched 1 game this year, completely checked out. Just not that exciting or interesting to watch, no players I really care about except for maybe Horvat Tanev Hutton and the Twins.

Feel awful for the Sedin's though. They need to be a 2nd line on a contending team right now.

I honestly don't. The players that wanted to win a Cup got outta dodge. Sedin's know they're free to go off and do the same, but they've embraced their role. I don't think they feel bad, so I don't feel bad.
