Well . . . Our Flames might not hit 80 pts as a team this season . . . we might not have ourselves a Thirt- heck twenty goal scorer on our squad come April . . . It's likely we won't have anyone stand on his head and amass 50 pts over the course of the year . . . Shit, we might be the most overpaid, underperforming, disjointed, unininteresting and unininspired collection of individuals that have ever donned the Flaming C since day 1 in Cowtown . . . . BUT . . . BUUUT . . . There's a silver lining to this season . . .

So enjoy the ride folks, enjoy the good times. Enjoy when the refs miss an offside on us and then that a goal doesn't get reviewed and called back because there wasn't one to begin with. Cuz next season could be worse than this one. And the next worse than that one and, well, yeah. Silver linings!

Or Conroy gets some advice and he rebuilds like a boss already this year and we change half of the team/be lucky with our picks in the summer. He needs to go beyond and above as he already funked up and cannot afford to do it again.

There are options out there, our two main assets have a very tradable contracts, just maximise their return now. Zad and ageing Tanev can be rentals at TD. Dube, Mangiapanne should be in the trading mix too.

Also, it's now very obvious that Tkachuk and Gaudreau wanted to stay in Calgary but disliked the coach. Why on earth would the coach remain the same in 2022? Absolute idiots up in towers! 2 generational superstars gone for a very obvious and easily fixable reason- literally anyone but Sutter would correct at that time status quo. A few top coaches were available that summer. What a f*** up.

I really think Zary is a good with Rango and Naz. He's a ball of energy and a bit of a pitbull himself, that should fire up Naz who's in the same vein. With Zary being a playmaker and Rango and Naz being more scorers, that is a good fit too.
