El Jeffe himself the big don Jeff Gorton walked in there and flashed Steve MacDonald’s badge and dropped his big balls on the table and said “it’s time to accelerate this rebuild.”

Can’t wait. Just don’t galaxy brain the pick Gordie. (The fear of them having Ryan Gropp as their 6th best forward in that draft is knocking on the back on my brain but I’m trying to ignore it.)

Kakko is a stud. And if the Devils take him then we get Hughes. This is all good.

Thank the hockey gods for finally shining down on us for once.

Whoever the new team president is is going to step into a very nice situation with the prospect pool the franchise is building.

Edmonton isn't getting nearly enough credit for this. They the real MVP's for beating Calgary in the final game of the season.

McJesus died so his next team could draft his running mate.

So if Edmonton loses that game, they win the lottery and get the 2nd overall pick. The world would have exploded.
