I'm a big fan of listening to podcasts. I listen to at least one podcast a day, if not more, from a lot of different subject.

What are your favorites ?

Here's a few favorites of mine:

Stuff you should know
If you've ever wanted to know about champagne, satanism, the Stonewall Uprising, chaos theory, LSD, El Nino, true crime and Rosa Parks then look no further. Josh and Chuck have you covered.

Until our team are hittng the club on the golf court, I have plenty of games/les partants/dave morissette en direct et l'anti-chambre to entertain myself..

But yeah, Rogan is solid.

Pretty nerdy, but I love philosophy, psychotherapy and political conferences on youtube. Listened to most recordings I could find of Chomsky. There's some really good stuff on psychoanalysis, Yeomans (who treats group B personality disorders) has some stuff on there (his master classes cost a decent buck). Theres way more, but anyone who has that kind of stuff to recommend I'm always open to it.

I love philosophy and Chomsky is obviously one of my favorites, too. The classic Foucault/Chomsky clash of titan on human nature almost turned me into a philosophy major

Do they do Porncasts? I’d like that...i think.

Just kidding....there’s a pretty good WW2 history podcast I listen too by Ray Harris Jr. I enjoy it very much. He’s no Joe Rogan but he knows his stuff.

I actually wish I did a certificate in social sciences. I might do a masters one day, but I went through 17 years of post-secondary education and Im frankly not in any hurry to go back.

Any hockey podcasts you guys know of?

I subscribe to the typical:

Hockey Central @ Noon
Le Support Athletique
The TSN Hockey Bobcast

Then some Habs centric ones:

The Habs Forum
Last Word Radio, but I only listen to Habs’ pods.
Habsent Minded
Habsworld Podcast

Otherwise, I’m not into pods too much, but mostly because of time.

7 were on-the-field of which 5 were paid well enough to live decently. Couldnt have done any more book studying though. Was already at my limit during my undergrad.

But I digress, I love social sciences, but Ive been burned out by school for a decade. I just go to conferences and listen on the net to get my fix.

Spittin Chiclets. You run a slight risk of getting dumber when you listen to those guys, but they have some great guests, as well as interesting insights on day-to-day NHL/hockey life.

I'm a fan of some of the Bloomberg podcasts, they aren't going to be everyone's cup of tea though. Masters in Business, in particular, has some really interesting guests with amazing wisdom.

Would love to see the Athletic guys start a podcast. Dumont, Basu and Brown would make for a good listen. Maybe Melnick could transition there pre-retirement or if 690 tanks one day (one can dream).

Along with the others mentioned, I like the Hockey PDOcast, it's more analytics heavy and he often has a different team writer each week as a guest and they take a deep dive into their season so far. It's a good way to get to know more about teams you don't follow as closely.

Hahaha... yeah, that’s what I get for living in Leafs Nation. Only source for Habs discussion are pods, but I don’t listen to many outside that, except maybe the odd MMA one once in awhile.

As for prospect discussion, I’d like to have a suggestion as well. However, the big es will have closer to May/June.

I can't listen to Rogan any longer, not since he soldout the last 6 months, total turd. I think we should start a decent Habs podcast, there isn't any good ones out there.

Rogan is awful. I don't understand why people like him so much. :dunno:

Total douche-bro. I liked him on Newsradio and he's good with the UFC, but I can't stomach him otherwise.
