Year 1: The roster we have we can't win with. Change is coming. Change is made. It takes time for new players to fit in and a new group chemistry to take hold. Patience required. I have already assumed the tank is on.

I know better than to cheer for Wright, we aren't drafting first overall, but I haven't learned my lesson enough to avoid cheering for David Jiricek who is my personal hope of a draft target.

Typical Canucks fashion would be to hold on to Green until the season is definitively over and fire him way too late, and then watch the players go on a meaningless late season rally which manages to buy Benning another year and slaughter this years draft position, while still missing the playoffs, despite securing the all important moral victory for the season.

This is the most frightening prediction possible. Seems so realistic but good God I hope not

Fire Green AND the entire coaching staff, this is embarrassing. Offence sucks, power play is horrible, they play not to lose instead of playing to win, try’s to defend when up 3-2 instead of stomping the other team 5-2, doesn’t realize offensive players can play crucial effective minutes down the stretch with a lead, throws players under the bus while taking no accountability, dinosaur coach, fire him.

The team is not playing to its potential. Terrible decisions all around not getting the most out of its roster. Lots of untapped potential and Green is not getting it out of the group. Time for a change ASAP while they can maybe save this season and win some hockey games.

Also, huge fail not making this team to gel during preseason and never really putting the team together for most games. It was either one of our NHL lines playing with a AHL group - rotating each game. Also, Petan getting huge minutes+looks while not even playing one NHL game. Simply put, never got this team ready for regular season and they look predictably bad.

Have been to this bbq many a time. In today's hype world, people can't wat to call someone a star. Patrik Sundstrom, he was supposed to be the new and improved Gradin. For a couple of seasons he was. Hogelander reminds one of Robert Kron; flashy, super fast and g=enough of a scoring touch in his rookie year to believe he would be a solid 30 goal man. How many great seasons did Naslund and Bertuzzi really have? Two? Kessler had a few good seasons and was declared a superstar beast. What is Petterson's upside? Cue bass solo.

I hope this "bass solo" sounds like Cliff Burton's......or Geezer Butler's at least
