Pete Carroll went to my high school for a lunch/to sit in class with my friend when I was in 10th or 11th grade and spent a lot of time shaking the hands of students. Yes, it's allowed and has been for well over a decade (maybe forever). It's possibly the best form of recruiting because it puts peer pressure on the player. He landed the recruit.

I love Harbaugh. He is a weird dude but it's totally his element and he embraces it. I think he also just likes to make people uncomfortable sometimes which is always entertaining.

I'm all for a coach who you can talk to and trust but some of this would creep me out as a recruit and I'm surprised this stuff is allowed.
