I still think a Nylander for Pesce swap is just rearranging deck chairs on a transatlantic boat crossing hoping it'll get you to the other side faster. And the new chair set up is now more expensive and now you might have a different problem once you're done rearranging. Though there is a chance this rearranging might actually get you to the other side faster. How likely is it, is the question.

Ideally we would keep the defensive depth we've finally been able to build after sucking for so long (just go look at the brutal pairings we used to ice before Slavin and Pesce came along - never again!), and try to trade futures for a forward or two (might not be Nylander level or age but we don't necessarily need another young forward as long as they're good) to tide us over while Necas/Svechnikov/other forward prospects make the next step.
