HUGE TRADE::::::::::
To New York: goaler Terry Sawchuk, MTL's 5th and 8th choices
To Montreal goaler Patrick Roy, NYR's 6th and 11th choices
Who's the best Roy or Sawchuk, I think the pundits will be arguing that one
for a long time.One thing is for sure , you can't measure it just on statistics
especially when comparing different eras.In comparing Roy to the players of
his era there is one argument that stands out:He's the only player to win 3
Conn Smythe Trophies(skaters included).Sawchuk played when they didn't have
the Conn Smythe but surely he would have won it if it was there to win.What
made this a great trade for me was that Henri Richard was still on the table for
the 75th overall pick I received.This guy was one of the greatest defensive
forwards of all time as well as one of the greatest leaders.He has more Stanley
Cup's then any other player and he captained several of them.
