I'm late in this conversation and I'm probably off the current topic but I just want to say that kid Deslauriers could be exciting, he actually shoots the puck and a lot. Usually I have to yell at my TV "shoot" but this guy just does it. I was clearly impressed by his size, he moves decent and he was laying the body down. I think it was Kulikov that got laid out by him? what a freight train. Also his first shot off the game was a crossbar shot that beat Luongo over the shoulder, he's got a quick and fast wrist shot.

Wow how on earth did Hodgson vs Kreji start!? Are we really comparing ANY PLAYER on a Stanley Cup winning team to a team that is one of the worst non-expansion teams in the history of the NHL? There are to many variables to make the comparison anything other than laughable.
