Winning a very weak North Division is nothing at all to be proud of.

It was weak.

We need change.

I used to think as long as we:

1) Don't play the Bruins in the playoffs we can advance.

but that changed to

2) As long as we don't play a team with a hot goalie/possessed like Korpisalo or Price we can advance.

but the real answer is looking like:

3) we need a coach who can light a fire under our players' butts to have that sense of urgency to win.

We can add BOTH MacKinnon and McDavid this season, but if the Leaf players DONT have a coach that can get them to play with confidence and with a fire in their belly, it is all in vain. Trotz is the answer. He can get the most mileage out of mediocre players and make them play with elite swagger.
