You're also talking about trading 9 OA for a winger and pretending that 3 OA can go for a similar player when there is a gulf in the value of those picks and the resulting prospects. RNH isn't worth anywhere close to 3 OA.

If EDM and MTL were to swap picks, what would the plus from EDM be?

MTL fans apparently not high on Zadina/Kontkaniemi or anyone who might be available with that pick. Edmonton would probably feel differently and would be high on Zadina.

2nd The Difference between the 3rdOA and the 10 th OA is HUGE so it would take a lot more than the Oilers would be willing to give up.
So on these 2 bases i would suspect there's no chance that Pick is going to move.
