Definitely a combo of both. At the same time there’s no Mia Hamms, wanbachs, lloyds, ect anymore

That was my response. US had a handful of flat out dominant players that carried them to dominance. It was like Tom Brady going up against the Browns every week.

Now it's more like the US has the overall talent advantage, but it's shrunken considerably.

you look at some of the European teams especially. There’s multiple you can say have easily surpassed us. Spain, England may have lapped us.

they need to get emma hayes in and running things. they sat their best player for some reason and got some shocking play from her replacements. keeper situation needs to get rationalized too, naeher is washed up. the decision making with the player pool remains too beholden to certain players.

Real question: have they fallen or have others caught up while we stagnated?
Id say its 60/40. Rest of the world has caught up with their programs and the USA hasnt found the next group of elite talent. Kinda like the German mens team the last few years.

There are some other (minor) contributing factors too. Injuries and roster selection really cooked them at the WC. My memory is foggy, but I also don't think they were all "together" in training as much as usual for chemistry/etc.

Kind of "all of the above" + what was already mentioned.

And here we go with the PC crap. Can't believe she had to walk back these comments. If I was a coach, I'd say I wouldn't want teammate/teammate romantic relationships too

Why? As long as it is consensual and they have informed the management, then it shouldn't matter. Especially if it is not affecting the on field performance.

I just don't understand why people need to be in people's business about who they are buggering. Unless of course it is inappropriate from a legal standpoint.

That's the concern: it's highly likely to affect on field performance and team dynamics.

Eh, most employers have rules/prohibitions against workplace relationships.

Chelsea - Man U match midweek this week was probably the best match I've seen all season for the prem league.

I wonder how long until City try to buy Palmer back

I got tickets earlier as well.

Any recommendations on parking? Coming from south on 79.

Obviously there's the casino. where I park for all Pens/Pirates games. However they do charge for parking for events at Heinz.. unless you get there like 5 hours early or so. Its a rip but if you make a day of it and the casino is your thing,, can get there early and gamble a bit. Some decent eating too.
