He's a man and him and his family will make the choice in the end. But Sabres fans always trying to find a alternative way to get rid of that contact under the disguise of caring makes me a bit sick sometimes.
I say what I mean and I mean what I say. I'm not responsible for your personal or any Sabres fan's ulterior motives. Read the article.
EDIT: I neither appreciate insinuations about my motives nor being indirectly adressed as part of an alleged group, but maybe this needs some clarification.
I haven't been vocal about getting rid of Okposo, the reasons being A. he's been a useful player on a well functioning line this season and B. I figured they'd find a way of putting him on LTIR à la Callahan once he was no longer serviceable, anyway.
The truth is, while he is a big boy who can obviously make his own decisions, there've been too many red flags about his health now in order to not be concerned about him, including but not limited to that ICU episode. The feature on Carcillo was pretty eye-opening and, whether you believe it or not, I'm honestly more interested in not having another Montador on our hands than the Sabres cap issues in a couple of years.
