The teams that need a goalie need Talbot more now. Drives the price up between all the bidders.
Lehner's numbers aren't even really that good...
Granted, playing for a lesser team, but still.

“@HartnettHockey: If the Sens are able to get the 21st pick from BUF for Lehner and Legwand, Rangers should be able to get a first-rounder for Talbot + Klein.â€

Don't look purely into numbers with goalies, so many variables contribute to GAA, SV%. Lehner is young, and big. Lot of talent there.
3.02 gaa and 9.05 sv% last year and he gets a 1st. Oh, but he's 23 years old. Great, he can suck for longer.
Does anybody think that a Talbot+Boyle would land us a first rounder?
Depends on who you ask.
Ottawa was pretty bad for a lot of this season. But he was part of the reason why. Makes me optimistic on what the Rangers can do.
If we are trading both Talbot and Klein together, I want 9th overall from SJ. Klein isn't a cap dump. Talbot should get 16th overall from Edmonton on his own.
Why would Boyle accept a trade?
It's highly suspicious that a team chooses an old, injury prone Anderson and flash-in-the-pan Hammond over the 23 year old #1 goalie in waiting.
Depending on where it is to. By his own admission he struggled last year. Maybe he'd waive for another destination.
