I ran a simulation on 500 consecutivate games played between the two based on the data from the series and Excel told me Vegas would win 250.24 games vs only 249.76 for the Stars....The team expected to win didn't.

I do wonder, if the Stars are able to grind out a Cup-championship, how much Jim Nill's perception around the league changes. Does he suddenly leap into the upper-echelon of GMs? He's hardly mentioned when discussing the top executives, but he's quietly gone about business and assembled a strong club year-in and year-out. I, for one, hope they can finish their amazing run.
