Before I opened this article I thought about it and went with Orr, Shore, Schmidt and Bourque.

I think that's what it should be. Espo overlapped with/was overshadowed by Orr. With those 4 guys you listed, you pretty much have everything Bruins covered in the 20th century. Shore in the 20s and 30s, Schmidt taking it up to the 50s then coaching til the mid 60s, Orr until the mid-70s, then Bourque up to 2000.

Orr, Shore, Schmidt, Charles Adams

No Charles Adams - the Bruins never happen.

In 2015 dollars he paid the NHL $500,000 to get a franchise in 1924. We as fans usually don't like owners but without him none of the last 91 years of Bruins history happens.
