Watched 2 episodes. I'm hooked.

FWIW, Amazon is very, very careful with their content warnings. The worst subject matter they had a warning for is implied and off-screen.

If it's not rated r they are doing it wrong. The comic had copious amounts of nudity, vulgarity and very graphic violence. Also, Simon Pegg should be Wee Hughie. He's the spitting image of him.
Edit: So I see they cast Pegg but as Wee Hughie's father...
And please get that beard off Urban.
Otherwise the trailer looks promising.

This is really good. I think the cast is doing a good job, it's a good flow and stuff is crazy but believable. If superheroes were real you could imagine it getting to their heads like it does with athletes, celebrities, politicians and others. So some of them were decent, some had problems and some were cold and arrogant.

Easy binge for me which is not often case. This was definitely very entertaining and had engaging characters and moments.

Fyi

The guy in the comic is based upon him

One complaint is they telegraphed the twist and I think it was a mutual hook up

A day or two after this came out, my brother-in-law was talking about it and I said "oh, that's a comedy, right?" He said, "no, it really isn't."

It's a comedy. Dark comedy, to be sure, with its fair share of seriousness... but still a comedy.

I'm about 5 episodes in myself and love it so far.

That's the million dollar question. I hope it's the former.

Get to work, Amazon, and get season 2 rolling. Like NOW
Also,
Did no one seem bothered that Stillwell's baby most likely blew up in the house? Butcher really DNGAF about anyone.
