Maurice has the room. He is getting results. We can't act like our team is supremely talented over other teams. I think Maurice gets the team playing the right way. The improvements in our special teams I think come from him.

I didn't realize the Hartford Whalers connection, Quenneville, Dineen, Samuelsson. Maurice started in Hartford too.

People are calling St. Louis and that looks feasible. I also know that St. Louis is cheap. I expect Tallon to hire him back to Florida. Lots of talent to work with. No scrutiny. It's like semi-retirement.

Won’t happen, pure fantasy to think it will.

To the question of should, I think there’s the fundamental question of how you measure coaching impact. I don’t think Maurice is a great coach and never have, but there’s something to be said for continuity, especially when you’re coming off a 114 point season.

All that said, have little doubt that Q is a better coach than Mo. Results speak for themselves.
