it means you make a judgement call after each game based on how the goalie played, how he feels and the situation of the locker room.

These are professional athletes. They train all year to play a season of hockey. The odd back to back game is no reason to automatically dress a back-up goalie.

quit drinking the coach's koolaid. goalies historically and universally have worst save percentages when they play back to back nights. this indisputable, and anything you have to say to the contrary is wrong.

Eddie posted an elite .958 save percentage last night. He followed up with .895 tonight which is god awful.

this is dr. jekyll and mr. hyde crap. Eddie didn't have a good game and the coach is playing with fire by fire when he takes these risks.

No, he didn't, so what? we came back and got two points. Markstrom hasn't exactly been the most confidence inspiring this year so far, if Miller was healthy then yes, play him but in this scenarioI think it was the right call to play Lack.

And if the refs weren't complete *******s we'd probably get a few more penalties too. Like that 5 minute boarding penalty on Vrby by Jones. Or Forsberg straight up smacking Lack in the face.

It gets problematic when you use hindsight to justify something. More so considering Lack is now getting the same sort of workload he got last year after Luongo was traded. And people ripped Torts for it. Yet one year later here we are again.
