It's just perfect that ritchie was chosen by the ducks. I guess we'll see close up who will end up the better player.

Well I do think we'll see Jake in the NHL sooner than Ritchie. Vancouver's need is more urgent and there is literally no one in Jake's way. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if he was talked up to have a chance at playing this year, even though I think that's a mistake (partly due to the surgery, the rest due to further maturation needed). Ritchie isn't going to crack that line up for another 2-3 years at least. He'll be a good one though and Anaheim is so bloody good at developing talent. I still like Jake better but I do have concerns about how we develop him and whether we will rush him for optics.

well virtanen isn't a headcase like e kane so he's got that going for him

nash was a 1st overall pick so if he's virtanen's comparable then that's pretty good
