Without a BC/BU rivalry, the consolation game just feels like a normal college hockey game - even worse, one without ranking implications.

Both Northeastern and Harvard are tournament teams but there aren’t that many at large bids in a 16 team field and a couple bad weekends can be all it takes. Of your gonna show a Beanpot rerun on both channels NESN has put the live game on. The Garden is empty for most of the first game in the semis so of course it’ll be for the consolation.
