About as disappointed as I would be if I got a red M&M instead of a blue one.If the Avs fall to 2nd, is it almost a guarantee Hughes goes first? And who here is a part of the Hughes crowd and how upset would you be missing out on him for Kakko?
If you’re from the Kakko crowd already, please hold your comments till the end.
Kirby Dach goal in the playoffs today.
Not according to everyone looking for reasons not to take him. Honestly though I could see him becoming a very good skater at the NHL level. I don't think his skating is bad and I don't see any concerns coming from it at the next level. He'll obviously have to put in some work but he'll get there imo.The NHL Network is showing a WHL playoff game. Prince Albert versus Saskatoon (Dach). Dach has the only goal so far. He skates and stick handles rather well!
Was just going to post. Absolutely dirty.

There's no reason to pick Dach in the top-4.
I'd like to know how you come to that conclusion...None at all haha? There's no reason to pick Dach in the top-4.
Here's a video of Dach that wasn't taken in 1992

Yep, he's smooth as hell.As Dach's body matures and he gains strength, that power move to the net is going to be more dangerous!
Thats fine but there are legit reasons to take him there even if you don't rank him there.I think that Hughes, Kakko, Cozens and Byram will be better

Outside the top two I think he has the highest ceiling. He has IQ, Soft creative hands, vision, Size, defensive awareness and honestly I think his skating is good but others disagree. There is slight concern about his compete level but I think its overblown and he can find more consistency through refining his habits off ice.Dach is gonna end up being one of the steals of the draft if he falls too far. He's got so much room to grow, and he's already pretty damn good.

I doubt that this takes into account the fact of the drop off in talant from pick 2 to 3 and the later drop off as well. If we wind up picking 4th, I easily trade our 3rd rounder to move up 2 spots but no team in there right mind would do that I would think.I found this if anyone is interested. One of our third round picks would be perfect (value) to move up, say, from #20 to #12 to grab Knight in the first round.
