I'm more disappointed that we are potentially going to draft someone who won't step right in the NHL even if he will be a A+ prospect. Waiting another year or two like Makar is going to suck.

Waiting only one more year would be exceptional. Expect 2.

That's why I'm warming up to the idea of getting a dman (Byram) or even Podkolzin. If he's the concensus #3 there must be something there (just make sure he's not the Puljujarvi kind of concensus #3).

Makar + Byram would be damn nice, don't see Chicago picking another D

Byram makes a lot of sense for them. They don't a have a potential top pairing guy and Keith is slowing down.

To be fair. Are we sure Pulju and Yak weren’t just ruined by the Oil? I feel like there was something there.
