History of Hockey
Not having a draft clock is the deciding factor for myself also. I'm home-schooling my 7 year old the entire year and the last week before Christmas is going to be busy.
That's fine, I will play still. Do we pick our team all in one day?
Gretzky is 1980's.
Howe is 1950's (he won 5 of his 6 Harts that decade).
Roy & Forsberg are 1990's.
Dionne is 1980's.
It's a simple, easy standard to meet.... a player who played in part of 5 seasons in any 0 to 9 decade - e.g., 1930-1939 - qualifies).

How about a player that played in more then 2 decades like Jagr?
This1. We could limit players to their most dominant decade;
Or
2. Let a GM claim (when picking) a player representing ANY decade in which they played part of 5 seasons (decade from Jan 1st 00 to Dec 31st 09).
The second way is simple and easy, the former more historically apt.
What do you guys think?
Yeah, it's hard to get online for 10 minutes of hockey history these days.
Take care.
Have a good holidays!
I'll set things up tomorrow now that sign ups are done.
EDIT: NO. LET'S KEEP THINGS SIMPLE and have the 20th Century only.Can we use players from the 1890's,2000's also?
