That is the point of not having a clock.

No waiting!

No checking in three times to see if it's your time.

Pick when you want, when it is convenient. It could be at the breakfast table, in the car or on the bus ride home, before dinner or just before bed. Whenever it works for you!

Picking anytime during the day is great for the busiest time of the year. Like I said, we've done it before and it works like a charm! :)

It's a simple, easy standard to meet.

He means any other players who could comfortably fit as picks in two separate decades. We should probably come up with a definitive list before we start this thing to avoid confusion. Much like the list available for the OPPF format.

1. We could limit players to their most dominant decade;

Or

2. Let a GM claim (when picking) a player representing ANY decade in which they played part of 5 seasons (decade from Jan 1st 00 to Dec 31st 09).

The second way is simple and easy, the former more historically apt.

What do you guys think?

EDIT: WE WILL DO THE 2ND WAY and let the GM claim any decade in which a player played at least one game in five seasons that decade at the highest level of competition.

Yeah, it's hard to get online for 10 minutes of hockey history these days.

Take care.

With my son's school schedule and my wife's work schedule changing this week unexpectedly, yes it will be hard getting online for 10 minutes a day for something like this. Other stuff has top priority currently.

Since it is December 18th and now 10:02am eastern...

And since we can only draft 1 of the big 4..

I’ll select Bobby Orr (70’s?), and Jean Beliveau (50’s)

I wasn’t planning on picking so early, but I have actually been off work sick for the past few days.

And since I haven’t specified, I’ll be the Cleveland Crusaders
