This is not novel that teams are going to double Embiid more.....tonight was an extreme masterful version. Both Embiid and the coach had no clue how to adjust. Barkley said he took the next crucial step in his career (stardom) bc he adjusted to his double teams. He said that is what separates the very good from the stars...how they respond to the extra focus.

Yeah ...setting screens and rebounding are good and all but since Simmons won't score...adding Embiid to the non-scoring/limited scoring ranks assures this team won't go far. Relying mainly on JRich and Toby as your scorers is a fool's errand.

League has the tape of this game....fatigue though does seem to have played a part in him doing perimeter work as opposed to smashing inside but Gasol defended him well.
