List of former MVPs under 30 available at the trade deadline:

Hall

Why not? If you are a GM already on shaky ground if your team doesn’t advance then Hall with term is not your problem, its the next guys problem.
This feels like Sweeney music right here lol

I think he will go to Seattle next year. It will be the only team with enough free cash and perhaps willing to pay him close enough to what he wants after this disastrous season.

I'd be interested in renting him for the playoff run but idk if thats enough time to learn the isles systems .

if Trotz could turn him into an effective spoke in the wheel then I guess we have something to talk about extension wise.

Hall is a palyer many teams wsnt to trade foe and sign to a good contract, so they can trade him and his ”good vontract” to other values. But in fact, nobody wants the player now

6yx3m sounds about right with what he's shown so far this year.

:sarcasm:
What would teams give the Sabres if the contract was 3 years at 6 million per year and the Sabres retained 50 %? No rationale team would do this...but the Sabres are not acting like a rationale team.

They will get a conditional 1st I think, something like a 1st if the team makes the conference finals, converts to a 2020 2nd if they don't.

edit: 2021 2nd I meant whoops!

if he comes for under 6 million i wouldnt mind it. The chances hall signs for under 6 are basically zero unless he does another bet on himself deal. If he decides to do that he may want to choose a good team.

If they hold fast on this it will imo restrict the market to teams that require significant salary retention to make his number fit their cap.
