There is NO goalie at the AHL level so this makes perfect sense. If something happens to Vasi or Louie, you would be calling up a goalie whose top level of experience is the ECHL to fill the need.

He won’t sign to become a goalie in the AHL. It has been reported that domingue is on the table, he is going to be traded at some point.

I’d be genuinely shocked if he signed somewhere with no chance at the NHL. Mac is a good goalie and consummate vet, an NHL player for sure.

We will just sign a experienced goalie who played in the AHL last season exactly what we did with Eddie. We aren’t going to spend a lot of money for Curtis to be in the AHL. He deserves better than the AHL after he’s heroics last season.

Carried by the team most nights. 2.88 GAA and 90.8 SV% is not bad sure but nothing exceptional either on a 62-win team.
