Our window is open for as long as Victor Hedman is an elite #1, most likely. We have a lot of fire power and we've shown an ability to develop great secondary scoring while also plucking the odd gem out of later rounds.

Shattenkirk was... Well, he was good overall, I think. And definitely worth his salary. But God he was bad some nights.

Yes, Tampa is a dynasty caliber and were real close to it prio to last year. The difference between now and the early 2010's is that they are the only dynasty team in the league right now. Whereas there were 4 then.

Meh, on paper the Caps didn’t have what it took in 2018, nor the Blues in 2019. 2020 Tampa appeared inferior to the first-round-exit 2019 team. Once you get past the first round, teams tend to be separated by player buy-in, positional depth and luck. Tampa absolutely could win it all, but I wouldn’t rule any playoff-bound team out just yet.
