If they want him to stay they better get him some help (ie: signing Panarin to big $$$$). Their owner is going to have to commit to a full cap team, I don't see him staying in a situation where the owner refuses to spend to the cap roof. It's not going to be just about giving Hall money, are they willing to also spend to give him a legit Cup contender.

If NJ misses the playoffs, that's gonna be like 8/9 years out of the playoffs and zero playoff round wins for him and I think he's had about enough of that.

Yeah, Devils have stunk recently, but they were in the playoffs 3 out of the last 9 years, one of them being a trip to the cup final.

Worthless troll posts aside - I don't think the Devils move Hall.

To play amateur psychiatrist, Hall took a solid like 14 months to adjust to life in NJ after the trade from Edmonton. I don't think he wants to have to relocate again - he's got a nice life for himself in NJ.

The Devils will happily give him that 8th year at 11M, and I think this'll be settled pretty early in July.
