I guess Marner gets Kerfoot, Gauthier moves to the 3rd line and Spezza draws back in?

Moore - Matthews - Marner
Johnsson - Nylander - Kapanen
Mikeyhev- Kerfoot - Petan
Timashov - Goat - Shore/Spezza

I assume they’ll go with something like that, unless they want Spezza/Shore being a 3C

a few weeks of LTIR on an $11M player should help the final cap calculations.

I think it'll be like this except Matthews/Marner won't happen, he'll put Kapanen back with Matthews and Marner will play with Nylander or Kerfoot. *sigh*

I'd run this in a game or 2 once Hyman is back

Hyman-Matthews-Marner
Mik-Nylander-Moore
AJ-kerf-Kap
Tymo-Goat-Shore/Spezza

Nylander at center with guys that are playing probably better than him. He gets high end workers and has the ability to play his game with guys that can keep up.

Willy to C.

Sounds logical to me. Moving up Kerfoot to centre Marner doesn't seem like the best fit stylistically. Would also probably put whomever becomes the 3C out of their element. Moore-Matthews-Marner, Johnsson-Nylander-Kapanen or Mikheyev? Tough to be without Tavares for a bit, in any case.

If they can get a good prospect for Freddy, might be time to make that move, shut down a couple other guys and draft well. I realize we don't have our 1st, but 32nd is better than 53rd.

This is my favourite take of the year. Well done my friend I had a good laugh at work.

for $10.893M Marner should be just fine with even the goat as his c. If Nylander isn't moving to C then no reason to split up Matthews and Nylander who have been pretty good so far this season, last few games haven't been great downgrading so far season mark to pretty good
