I wonder if Stralman injury could be what the hold up is?

Waiting to see how bad it is and if they should get guy in if he goes LTI or maybe he he is the piece LA wants back and they are making sure they are not getting damaged goods.

The latter wouldn’t make sense for either team as Stralman is a UFA and the Lightning are the ones contending this season. The Lightning would be downgrading this year and adding cap for the following two seasons while the Kings would be trading for a rental in a year where they aren’t competitive.
