Tampa didn't get fleeced at all. The Miller and Coleman trades are roughly a three team trade. Tampa traded Miller + 27th overall, Vancouver traded a future 1st + 71st overall, New Jersey traded Coleman. Sure Vancouver got a player who's producing great but Miller was a healthy scratch last year, had just 9g and 27p at even strength while making 5.25M and not being a good fit for that role. Tampa got that 5.25 capspace in the offseason to sign Point, Shattenkirk and Maroon. They got the 1st which helped get a cheaper replacement for Miller and a 3rd. New Jersey got two futures. It's a win for everyone.
