My God my eyes would water in those Midget (U18) dressing rooms sometimes. I swear some of the teens had underwear stuck to the bottom of their equipment bag.

I’m not sure why but growing up in the 60/70s, washing equipment wasn’t a thing like it is now (should have been).

Went to university and used to wear a onesie that was absolutely grey and yellow (bought new it was a stanfields white, bought from a Robinson’s Department store or Saan Store - can’t remember which one?).

Lived in a 2 bdrm apt with a bud) had only one place to put equipment and that was in the storage/laundry room. It used to cook in there between games (unless I forgot it in the trunk and it was frozen stuff when I got to Rutherford Arena to play the next game. Either way was never a pleasure to put on or even unzip the bag.

Nothing that a few pre game and a lot of post game beers couldn’t fix.
