No goalie will have good numbers playing the minutes Svedberg played. He's a better goalie than what he was given an opportunity to show IMO.

To add the porous defense most of the season.

I didn't see it mentioned in this thread, but I just read that NCAA Goalie of the Year Zane McIntyre is set to sign with the Bruins. The Hockey News projects him behind Subban on the depth chart.

And then factor in actually watching him play and it's clear he just wasn't very good this year.

There's quite a few cheap, experienced backups availabe via free agency/trade (McElhinney, Griess). ....I don't see it being an issue, so long as they do what others have mentioned.... not throw one of the PB goalies into that role premature.

Hopefully Svedberg finds some success over there.
