The point was never no other ES, it was no other player in this draft. Misa has also always been more highly touted than Roobroeck. Misa had 13 more points in 2 more games than Roobroeck. Roobroeck is great and probably will go 1st OA net year, but every scout is saying Misa is great, there's never really been a debate about him. Roobroecks size actually hinders his likelihood of being an ES player, as previously mentioned, because it helps him dominate. Roobroeck would be very similar to a *slightly* toned down Byfield, who didn't get ES but very nearly did. The OHL clearly thinks Misa is better than that.
I am not sure of that. I think the OHL may have been convinced that they were risking losing out on the next Fantili, Hughes, …

First of all ES is not given lightly. They have testing, interviews with family and school and it is decided as a whole. So your point on Robroeck is based solely on the scoresheet. In Sudbury fans get all excited about height you guys tend to forget very often they dominate because of their height and size in minor hockey. Robroeck’s brother is 6’7 and was seen as a star 3 years ago. He plays in Niagara now and is an average player. Good in front of the net on the pp though lol ! Misa Would take the risk because he is fast, skilled and most of all he can pass when it’s a better option. Too many guys even on our team don’t pass when they should or decide who they pass the puck to. Some don’t play for the logo. This team needs more Goyette and Delic. Villeneuve seems like the perfect mix for the Wolves after Misa.
Villeneuve would be my choice. Reminds me of a lot like McTavish.

Boo! Niagara gets the 1st OHL import pick. Hopefully Erie passes Sarnia on the final day so Niagara does not pick before the wolves in round 2 of the priority draft.

Watched Othman score 4 in final game to get to 50 goals; pretty cool.

Is that just in the OHL a couple teams in the other leagues had worst record than the Icedogs.

Here are questions asked from this year
How long before Papineau brings in a different head coach?
Will we draft a import goaltender or make a trade for one, given our less than stellar development history?
Will Musty develop both physically (better skating)and attitude wise next year?
Will it be in a Wolves jersey?
How successful will be the rehab from injuries for Dylan Robinson ,Alex Pharand .
Why was Jacob Holmes not playing in the final few weeks?
Will we draft an import D or 2 to solidify our defense?
Will Delic,Konyen and Assadourian rise to elite status in the league next year?
Who will be the captain amongst Holmes,Boudreau,Larmand ?
Will we go with team fit or best talent available in the priority draft?
Will die hard Wolves fans be rewarded with shovels to the ground and finally progress for a new arena that we deserve?
Hopefully we can see a lot of positive developments and answers on these questions

I just wonder how many of you have actually seen these prospects play live? I think the Wolves will get a great player regardless. Hopefully fits the teams needs. But every kid develops differently. Mccallum, Goyette, and Musty all proof of that as far as 1st rounders go.

Interested to see how the lottery plays out and how the draft will go down. Should be able to get an impact player that can help this group compete as the elite players on this team to have their 18-year-old seasons. Big offseason for the Wolves as they will need to tinker to improve in net and in the OA spots. Will Musty have a huge year in his draft-eligible season? Can Pharand put himself on the map in his draft year? Big season for the Wolves. Need to compete this upcoming season. No excusses.

It is difficult to get a true read on these players who play in the east and down south, but that creates the excitement and the interest.Die hard fans scour any piece of info they can get, because they have been loyal and invested with the Wolves for decades
