Probably the worst one I've ever seen tbh

They should honestly just play "No Words" every year. It won't get old. Or you can just use the same concept and different footage.

NBC got it right with their "Previously on the Stanley Cup Playoffs" ads, this one not so much. I get the concept it just doesn't translate well imo.

Great commercial seeing the players spell their name from the cup. Very unfortunate that Guy Lafleur nor Larry Robinson, who help lead the Montreal Canadiens in their 1970s Stanley Cup dynasty was not in the commercial.

History will be made was the greatest because every time someone did anything dumb or ridiculous on the ice, i could go watch the history will be made parody.

I like them.

And Gretzky says "zee" in the American version and "zed" in the Canadian one. As he should.

Same here.
Taylor swift commercial > spelling commercial

Thr lyrics " I got a blank space baby and -'ll write your name" on top of a blank portion of the cup to me is pretty good.

Ending with #4 is also pretty good.

I thought it was great.

Not sure how it causes any confusion for a hockey fan. Or hate, for that matter.

It's not that bad, IMO. Problem is, 'History will be made' and 'There are no words' were just fantastically better.

I dunno. It's one of those marketing ideas that looks so much better on paper but in execution it's just a bunch of guys spelling to dramatic music and it doesn't sell it well. That and Messier not finishing his name just bothers me.

I just noticed, compared to the others (outside of Toews maybe), Martin Brodeur has aged very well - smooth skin, few wrinkles. The lighting doesn't do them favors yet he looks really youthful and healthy. Props to him.

Agreed. At least one of those guys should've been in there.
