Given what the defense has looked this year i don't care how ugly this game has been. Making the opponent kick field goals is a good start. They needed a game like this. No gronk, short week, tampa isn't a bad team. Finish this off.

You've gotta go for the kill on third down, even if conventional wisdom is to run. I'd go for something safe like a screen outside to Amendola and see if you can pick up the first down to end it, and at worst you'd keep the clock running and gain enough to give Gost a reasonable FG opportunity.

I don’t want to be THAT guy, but it seems like the refs have been holding the Pats to a much higher standard this season than their opponents? Gronk gets mugged on every play with no call, but if a NE received breathes on a guy it’s offensive PI.
