5th (144th Overall): RW Pavel Novak
6th (175th Overall): D Axel Rindell (in the thread originally noted I wanted Connor McClennon, but didn't realize Rindell was still there)
7th (191st Overall): RW Linus Oberg

Barely followed this draft at all outside of the WHL so if I can beat our scouts they should all be fired, haha.

Would have probably tried to trade for more picks in the 3rd-5th round, maybe using future picks.
i.e. NYR got pick 127 for 196/206. Would have traded our 2021 4th or 5th for that pick to draft Vierling.

Would have also considered Ethan Cardwell and Oliver Suni in the 6th/7th.

I don't know nearly enough about these prospects to say who I'd have taken but I'm always interested to judge the HF consensus years later. The 2014 one in particular is amazing (and painful ) to look back on.

Thanks for creating a thread for this year's draft.

Didn't follow this draft at all. Just doing this because I do every year, and it'd be funny to look back and find out in 5 years that I sniped the next Brayden Point. Lotto numbers are as follows:

3rd (82nd Overall): Alex Laferriere
4th (113th Overall): Sean Farrell
5th (144th Overall): Jacob Truscott
6th (175th Overall): Amir Miftakhov
7th (191st Overall): Noah Beck

I honestly don't have a clue this year.

With our 1st & 2nd gone I did not pay any attention to this years draft class.
