My recollection is that Backstrom centered Ov when Kuzy went out. I think its pretty clear that Backstrom on the 1st line is going all your eggs in one basket. What kind of 2nd line do they have if 19 is with 8 and 43?

They went with Eller between Wilson and Ovie but Backstrom has also played on the line.

He'd look great eating up $5m on Crosby's wing.

I think Conno has added to his game. I have seen a few nice passes, and more aggressive work along the boards. Bah I assume he is a pending UFA.

I did like in the playoffs he did play tough guy to play against... after the whistle.
