He popped him pretty good. And walked away smiling.

So hopefully he got arrested.

This is irrefutable proof that there is a contingent of NYR fans that come to Prudential strictly to start shit rather than support their team. You can tell he had an air of "mission accomplished" about him.

We've known this for quite some time, but that guy in particular deserved to be pushed down the escalator on the way out... And then arrested.

(Disclaimer: If this post is violent and/or immature, lol, I don't really care. f*** their ancient, loser franchise and every stereotypical Joey Bagodonuts from Canarsie that supports them.)

Would have been even sweeter to clinch against the Rags last night.

Love how this team’s playing right now. This is how you want to go into the playoffs. 2 tough games coming up against teams they could end up facing in the 1st round. Time to send a message.

The math here is a technicality. Leapfrogging the Flyers and being a point behind the Pens and Jackets increases our odds dramatically.

So who do we root for in the PIT vs CBJ game? Pittsburgh finishes up with Ottawa and the Jackets finish with the Predators who will surely be resting guys.

Erik Karlsson is done for the season fwiw, he’s not going on the Sens’ final road trip to get back to his wife after their recent tragedy.

You could tell that just by the number of Ranger fans there last night. I’m surprised it was even 70-30 tbh. WTF did they care about going for?!

Weren’t you the one in this board a month ago who was basically saying that missing the playoffs was a foregone conclusion with this team? Lol

That was like 25% of the board. Blaming Schneider for missing the playoffs, lose a game and guaranteed out of the playoffs, blah, blah, blah and now they pretend like it didn't happen. That's HFBoards for you.

I'm guessing a lot bought tickets at exorbitant mark-ups and had no chance selling them at the prices they paid.

I'm almost happy that that many of them had to sit through that. It was glorious because, for me, that was a typical NYR contigent which I'm numb to at this point.

Could be worse, we could be the Islanders.

I mean just look at the standings and the teams we managed to beat. Schneider did his best to end this season. What this team and Kinkaid has managed to do is remarkable. And we still haven't clinched. It wasn't unreasonable to be freaking out after we dropped two in a row with a back to back with PIT and Tampa coming up.

We were in the row right in front and what made it even worse was his girlfriend got knocked out cold and had to be revived by the EMTs while he walked away smiling.

Listen, we all love our team and hate our rivals, but there's no way anyone should drop the gloves unless you're paid to do it...lol

Wow. Coleman, Noesen, Boyle, Gibbons and Wood doing a pretty good job with depth goal scoring.
A breath of fresh air when remembering the bottom 6 guys who couldn’t even score 20 points the past several years.

No when the Rangers fan popped the Devils fan, he caught his girlfriend in the back of the head on the backswing. She was already out when he went forward to try and throw some more haymakers, so she kind of just fell forward into our row and next to my buddy.

When exactly did this incident happen? There was some random roar in the crowd during a stoppage with about six minutes to go in the second period and I was looking at the OOT scores figuring Nashville had somehow got a goal, seeing that wasn’t the case I couldn’t figure out what the cheers were for. Best I can figure out someone (perhaps this clown) was getting escorted out?

It was a MasterCard moment.

Dropped over $200 on tickets
$60 on beers
Hundreds or thousands more on medical and legal fees
5-2 curbstomping loss

It happened literally as the Devils were doing the Hero of the Game segment. Not too much after Butcher's second PPG.
