Open to talk about your unprotected players! If you want to get something in return of a player you feel you will loose to Seattle!

@SJSharks39 my bad I didn't realize voting was moving so quick
You're fine. I just don't want to lose interest in the game so trying to get voting done soon so we can move on to entry draft/expansion/FA. I need at least one more vote for Round 2 possibly 2 or 3 depending on how the vote goes for the East series. Both of those are 3-2 right now.

MTL TOR was a tough one. I went MTL but not surprised it went other way.

Time will tell but I don’t see Toronto as contenders yet in real life. Don’t get me wrong, I think that they will get there, but I don’t see their window starting now.

You mean Perry? Or the fact that Caufield is a rookie?

We had arguably the best 4th line in the NHL.
Caufield isn't an NHLer rn in my eyes, I don't love his play and Perry is getting rough, but it's more in comparison. Also I don't expect Josh Anderson or Ty Toffoli maintaining their current paces. Contact this with Matthews who's a major Hart contender this year, Marner, Tavares and Nylander, the top end depth runs over Crosby, plus you add Iafallo and Rakell.

Doing this fantasy draft style:

:habs

Tyler Toffoli - Sidney Crosby - Brendan Gallagher
Jonathan Drouin - Nick Suzuki - Josh Anderson
Corey Perry - Jesperi Kotkaniemi - Cole Caufield
Arturri Lehkonen - Erik Haula - Joel Armia

Mattias Ekholm - Shea Weber
Ben Chiarot - Jeff Petry
Alexander Romanov - Joel Edmundson
*Yannick Weber

Carey Price
Jake Allen

While I am not sold on Leafs 3rd line, i can follow your point. But in my eyes, Habs 2nd D pairing is clearly better.

I think that in the end, leadership, playoffs experience and goaltending would be the difference in such a series, with the edge going to the Habs.

But yeah, Toronto has a great top 6.

We are obviously upset with our second round exit but the experience was huge for our young players like Suzuki, Kotkaniemi, Romanov and Caufield.

We believe in our core and our window is now. Our goal for 2021-2022 is nothing less than the Stanley Cup.

We are open to trade ideas and will wait after the expansion draft to make our plans for the offseason.

In other news, Joel Armia, Erik Haula, Corey Perry, Michael Frolik and Yannick Weber will not receive a contract offer and will become UFA.

Lol... really no love for the Habs in these games.

Two teams close in the standings in IRL, and the team adding a couple 2nd/3rd line players wins over the one adding Crosby and a top 4 defenseman.

I went with Toronto, they will get us with their PP and expose our not so fast defence with their upgraded roster. But it was close. And I don't believe Price will ever win....

We’ve got 4 1st’s, 2 2nd’s and some young NHL’ers such as Adam Gaudette and Tyson Jost available to trade for both a top 4 d-man and a solid, 3rd line center.

Understandable, but I love Holl right now

We are really upset about the first round exit.
We really beleived we add a though team built for the playoff.
We still believe in our chance to compete next year not having many big pieces leaving to free agency and a couple of young players in Whalstrom, Bellows, Koivula, Vande Sompel and Salo ready to make a push for a roster spot.
