Crosby is a yard away when Boychuk plays the puck. On the replay you can see the puck jump off the ice as Boychuk's stick passes it, it was sliding on the ice up until that moment. It is logical to think he contacted it to make it jump.

my thought (for the most part) on hits has always been that if you need "a different camera angle" to determine if it was a dirty, suspension-worthy hit, then it probably isnt.
