Should Play-in stats count as regular season stats or playoff stats?

Wait count them as regualr season but dont count them for awards?

Then dont count them for the playoffs?

One thing we can all agree on is that the NHL won't count on this advice.

LOL ya I know confusing indeed. Just feel they are not playoff stats for sure but can't just be ignored. However players on teams eliminated shouldn't have to compete against players who get the extra games either. However I'm thinking no players on the 7? teams not playing are probably in line for any awards anyway. So if I had to make decision on count as reg season or playoffs definitely regular season stats.

This is like not counting Over Time stats. Of course it should count.
