Why is Jones so good at shootouts but so bad at everything else?

SNOG announcement

Turns out we didn't have a viable SNOG again when the clock struck 00:00 on regulation.

Shootouts are saving this garbage ass team, its actually pretty ridiculous 11 games into this season and only 1 win in regulation. Sharks should be right there with the likes of Vancouver, Ott and Detroit with the way they are playing.

But it sure isnt rebuilding either. So not sure what you point was in bringing that up in the first place.
Well what’s the point of watching a team that sucks when they haven’t even played a home game yet?

To be .500 points wise right now regardless of the system is huge. In my mind a .500 12-game road trip to start the season isn’t terrible regardless of the underlying data.

I just think it’s rather unfair to say this team is bad when they have been living out of hotels for the last 2 months.

We would be if we weren't in the same division as the Kings and Ducks

They have to scrape and claw just to get a game to overtime because they consistently lose their discipline in the second. This team just isn't good and we just have to hope we see progress in guys like Knyzhov, Donato, Labanc and the other young guys like Gregor, Ferraro, and Gambrell.

In some ways this start seems like the start last season, except with some luck going the Sharks's way.

Playing the road doesn't make them take lazy stick penalties and too many men penalties. A lot of the shit they screw up on is self-inflicted.

No, but living the way they have will cause you to have more sore and tired days than if they were sleeping in their own beds and actually spending time with their families.

I mean, what are we arguing really? This team isn’t elite. We knew that coming in. But they are hanging around in the standings after having played just about half their road schedule. Let’s let them get a few home games in before we bury them around here.
