Y’all too quick lmao. I already edited it
I wouldn’t give them holtz but easily give them a second and some other prospect.2nd and Holtz for Hellebuyck?
Though they are building the team to limit the impact of a goalie.
We have ZERO space for Holtz now sadlyI wouldn’t give them holtz but easily give them a second and some other prospect.
3RW is open.We have ZERO space for Holtz now sadly
Meier-Hischier-Bratt
Toffoli-Hughes-Mercer
Palat-Haula-Holtz/Boqvist
Lazar/Foote-McLeod-Bastian/Boqvist
3RW is open.
I thought we had CBJ’s third from the Severson deal? Cap Friendly doesn’t list us as having a 3rd rounder this year.
We just traded it away in the Toffoli deal.I thought we had CBJ’s third from the Severson deal? Cap Friendly doesn’t list us as having a 3rd rounder this year.
This is the best top 9 I've seen since the 11/12 year and miles better.
Doesn’t mean this at all. Bratt is a left shot who is fully capable of playing LW. I’d imagine that he does and Mercer and Toffoli are your top RW’sTT is RW, and going back last season (and beyond), so are Bratt, Mercer and Holtz. And it would seem he clearly will play alongside Hischier or Hughes. Thus, this acquisition for me signals some combination of the following:
- Mercer goes to 3C and Haula on Hughes wing, then maybe Holtz on Mercer’s right with someone else on the left
- Mercer down to 3RW alongside Haula and someone else on the left, with Bratt and TT flanking Hischier/Hughes
- Holtz is in Utica or traded (in which case maybe another stopgap 1 yr vet ala JVR is brought onboard for a relatively cheap price)
