Lincoln might make him homesick for Siberia.
An achievement made all the more impressive by the fact that Shmakov is from Moscow...

Lincoln Stars in the USHL.Will the Avs continue to hold his rights? How does this work?
Edit: Or did we trade him, and I just wasn’t paying attention
Lolz, saw Stars, thought AHL... I’ll show myself outLincoln Stars in the USHL.
Yeah, I thought Dallas' camp too at first, like "huh?"Lolz, saw Stars, thought AHL... I’ll show myself out
He's played in Novosibirsk. An achievement made all the more impressive by the fact that Shmakov is from Moscow...
Nice to see him coming over to North America. He was impressive at rookie camp. Interesting that he wasn't offered a contract in Russia though, that sounds odd considering how possessive they are about their homegrown players.
How far for you to go see Weiss ?No way! There might be an Avs prospect right here in my backyard? Awesome!

How far for you to go see Weiss ?
true, hopefully he has gotten stronger and has a good year.Omaha's about an hour away. I've lived in Lincoln for nearly a decade now and still haven't seen a Lancers or Mavericks game.
It'd be nice to see Weiss, but of course dude's gotta be healthy enough to play.
Don't speak of things you obviously know nothing about.
Ehhhh, so it says on his EP page that he's on Cedar Rapids RoughRiders now. I haven't paid attention to the USHL training camps, but not sure it is a good look that he was pretty much traded away from one of the worst teams in the USHL.
RoughRiders add goaltender
So if he advances, NCAA route for Shamkov.
I can already hear his teamates calling him ShamSham after his first shutout for the Avs.
Edit: Forget that, last name Shmakov not Shamkov. Thread title is wrong.
